RODGUARD rod grease is a blend of naturally derived oil and non-toxic surfactants. It can be used to lubricate the outside of drill rods or as a preservative for core barrels. In this way, it increases the life of the rod by preventing the abrasions that the rods will be exposed to by rubbing against the well wall in vibratory drilling operations, and ensures that the drilling continues in a more controlled manner. RODGUARD rod grease can be applied by hand on the rods with a pipe or spatula.
